European companies slowly taking off

Some 63 entrepreneurs have taken advantage of the possibility to form a European Company (Societas Europaea, SE) since May 2007, when the measure took effect in the Czech Republic, according to Petr Mala, director of Společnosti Online, a leader on the market for ready made companies. Twenty European Companies emerged in the country between May and December 2007, a third of them bought as ready made companies, he said. This year, it was 42 percent, he added.
